Lessons learned...
To arrive at Burgos, we passed the 1150m "Pedreja". Temparatures have dropped quite a lot. We learned: a) Winter is coming, we should head south. b) Spain is far from being flat, c) You should no eat leftover Muesli in the "albergue" since it may contain small stones. I broke part of my tooth and had to pay a visit to a dentist, d) Our tandem is not good to use on soft surfaces (mud, sand etc). So we tried to ride on small roads, deviating from the "Camino".
Apart from the changed weather we enjoyed the company in the pilgrims hostels on the "Camino", they are easy and cheap and you meet loads of interesting people.
