A train saved us
When we woke up in the campsite at the "beach" of Kineta we realised that the weather had changed drastically. Temperature was just above zero, and the tent was almost blown away. So were we on the bike when we continued our tour. Fortunately our host Rania in Athens let us know that the coast rail trains accept bicycles. After having fought against really heavy storm for two km, and seeing snow on the slopes just behind the railway station, we decided these are definitely not the conditions for cycling. We took the train. We were glad to meet Heidi's daughters and enjoyed the really nice evening an delicious dinner with Rania and her family.
