We are now bicigrinos!

Last Friday late evening we crossed the French - Spanish border again.

After several not so successful attempts to find first nature reserves and then animals within them, Yves (warmshowers) gave us the hint where we could see cranes near Bayonne: Reserve des Barthes de Saint Martin de Seignanx.

Here an overview on  how we crossed France and where we spent the nights. Overall we were extremely lucky: plenty of sunshine and mainly mild temperatures so that we could camp quite often. But we used other options as well.

This is to praise the French and their attitude towards cycling and cyclists.

In the Basque country...

We discovered this piece of art in the Musée d’Art Naïf et des Arts Singuliers in Laval today and thought it fits well with our trip - although our true sacrifice may still be forthcoming...
